In the same vein as the first film, the second film is set to feature the return of the fatherly figure, who has the chance to finally be the one who is right for his daughter.

It is directed by Daniel Mccauley and stars Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Chris Rock, Anna Kendrick, Adam Driver, and Zachary Levi.

“My Father” was written by David Ayer and is loosely based on a novel by his brother, David A. Weber.

It was adapted into a TV series starring Chris Pine and J.K. Simmons.

The film will be released in theaters on August 12.

The original film was written and directed by David Ritter and starred Josh Brolin, Emma Watson, Michael B. Jordan, and Meryl Streep.
